Aidan comes to spark*advocacy with a passion for politics, human rights, and Indigenous affairs cultivated through her education, work experience, and Métis ancestry.
Prior to spark*, Aidan held policy positions at Global Affairs Canada on the Human Rights team, at the Treasury Board Secretariat on the Cabinet and Parliamentary Affairs teams, and at Indigenous Services Canada in Strategic Policy and Partnerships. With a Master's of International Affairs specializing in Diplomacy and Foreign Policy from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University and a BAH from Queen’s University, Aidan’s goal has always been to learn and use that knowledge to create positive change.
A fast-learner who loves to problem-solve, Aidan brings her positivity, adaptability, and creativity to the spark*advocacy team. Outside of work Aidan can be found spending time with friends and family, travelling, and enjoying the outdoors.
