Josie comes to spark*advocacy having spent the last six years in the fast-paced, highly visible setting of Parliament Hill. She has a deep understanding of all levels of government and how they function, most recently serving in a senior communications role in the Office of the Leader of the Official Opposition.
Prior to this, Josie worked in two of the largest departments in the Government of Canada, providing issues management, parliamentary affairs and communications advice to Cabinet Ministers and Members of Parliament in the areas of telecommunications, aerospace and Canada’s auto and manufacturing sectors.
At spark*, Josie enjoys putting this diverse experience to work, helping organizations to get noticed and build brand awareness. Originally from British Columbia, Josie hopes to one day get through a winter in Ottawa without complaining.
