CP Canada 150 Train
In 2017, on the 150th anniversary of Confederation, CP Rail celebrated the occasion and the vital role that Canadian Pacific played in tying Canada together by rail in the nation’s earliest days with its “Spirit of Tomorrow” train.
To share the celebration with Canadians, the CP Train embarked on a cross-country journey, with 13 stops along the way, featuring unique heritage cars and a diesel locomotive, free concerts by top artists, and First Nations performances.
To further promote the occasion, spark*advocacy and CP Rail used crisp creative collateral to raise awareness of the journey and its historic significance, as well as to capture and share the excitement after the train had left each station.
The campaign relied heavily on digital and social channels, promoting creative content to promote the celebrations with efficiency and accuracy.
