Account Manager

So what’s the opportunity?

spark* advocacy is looking for a driven Account Manager to support and grow client relationships and campaigns. You’ll manage projects, coordinate with teams, and help clients achieve their goals—all while contributing to meaningful impact marketing and advocacy work. This role is perfect for someone with 2–3 years of agency experience (mandatory), a passion for politics, advocacy or public affairs (strongly preferred), and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Bilingual French/English is a plus.

What You’ll Do:

Help plan, coordinate, and execute client projects and campaigns; draft presentations, reports, and updates; act as the day-to-day point of contact for clients; track timelines, budgets, and deliverables; conduct research and monitor trends; support senior team members with strategic advice and business development.

Who You Are:

Organized, proactive, and ready to take ownership; a strong communicator; comfortable managing multiple clients and projects; collaborative, creative and curious; passionate about civic engagement, advocacy, or politics.

Required Skills & Experience:

2–3 years of agency experience in communications, marketing, or related client-service roles; degree/diploma in communications, political science, public affairs, or related field; experience managing client projects and supporting campaign strategy; experience in politics/public affairs strongly preferred; demonstrated interest or involvement in civic engagement, advocacy, or related causes.
