Media Planning and Digital Advertising Analyst

spark* advocacy is looking for a driven Media Planning and Digital Advertising Analyst to play a key role in supporting the planning, execution, and optimization of digital advertising campaigns. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with the Account team on strategy development while building expertise across multiple advertising platforms and analytics tools. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. You will gain hands-on experience in campaign performance analysis and media planning while contributing directly to client success in a fast-paced, creative environment!

What You’ll Do:

Plan and execute advertising campaigns across multiple platforms. Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Ads Manager to gather and interpret performance data. Collaborate with account teams and cross-department partners to align campaign tactics with client objectives. Analyze campaign data to identify trends, insights, and optimization opportunities. Proactively troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions. Provide actionable recommendations to improve campaign performance. Monitor key performance indicators (impressions, clicks, conversions). Manage and optimize campaign budgets to ensure efficiency. Prepare clear, accurate reports and presentations for internal and client use. Evaluate channel effectiveness and recommend new tactics or approaches. Stay current on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices. Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards. Lead 5–10 client projects at any given time. Manage approximately $1,000,000 in media spend annually.

Technical Skills: 

Microsoft Office Suite. Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail). iWork and macOS. Adobe Creative Suite. Dropbox. Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, X (Twitter), LinkedIn Ads.


Required Skills & Experience: 

1–2 years’ experience in digital marketing, media planning, or analytics. Degree/diploma in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field. Proficiency in online advertising tools and technologies. Ability to analyze and present data-driven insights clearly.


Bonus Points: 

Experience in a consulting or agency environment. Demonstrated interest in politics, civic engagement, or cause-based campaigns. Bilingual (English/French)
