A new spark*insights online poll of 400 British Columbians conducted in partnership with iPolitics finds a tight race in the province as election day arrives.

Alex Kohut, Senior Director of spark*insights: "We're going to see a much closer election on Saturday than the NDP expected when they dropped the writ. The Conservatives have consolidated support among right-of-centre voters in BC, but they haven't been able to reach out beyond federal Conservative voters or establish Rustad as a popular leader and that has slowed their growth. The NDP should be considered the favourite to hold on to their majority government, but we might be in for a long night before a result is certain."
