As a passionate communicator, Dustin comes to Spark* Advocacy after spending the last five years working in Canadian politics, providing strategic communications advice to Federal Cabinet Ministers and Members of Parliament. Most recently, this included serving as the spokesperson for the Minister of Labour.
Prior to this, Dustin developed and implemented a highly tailored digital strategy plan to aid individual Members of Parliament to refine their messaging and expand their audience. Dustin understands the value of a targeted approach and uses his experience and expertise to create comprehensive communication plans to fit client’s needs.
Dustin earned his Master’s Degree specializing in Public Policy from Brock University in 2015 which has helped him to quickly digest and break down complex policy issues and convert them into effective, concise communications. Hailing from Hamilton, when he isn’t working, he can be found chasing around his young daughter Aria and dog Mac.
