A seasoned political operative and communications professional, Erika joins spark* after seven years in federal politics.
Starting as an intern Erika worked her way up through the back benches and campaign trails to achieve her childhood dream of becoming Press Secretary to a federal Cabinet Minister.
Throughout her time on Parliament Hill she worked with Ministers and Members of Parliament from Ontario and Atlantic Canada providing strategic communications, media relations, issues management, graphic design, legislative support and outreach advice.
Prior to her career in politics, Erika worked at the family agency, Lashbrook Marketing and Public Relations in London, Ontario as a Communications and Design intern.
Fiercely creative, Erika spends her free time making music and art in every medium she can get her hands on. In the winter months she and her partner enjoy cross country skiing.
