Mariana’s a creative from the outskirts of Havana, where her love for crafts and storytelling made it obvious early on that design school was the only way to go. There were countless all-nighters and a two-hour commute involved, but it was totally worth it.
After getting her design degree, her journey kicked off in Cuba, with adventures that took her far from home, a Master of Design in Canada, and loads of design gigs in between. From branding to UX/UI, she’s worked with the World Food Programme, UNICEF, and the UN, always aiming to make the world a little brighter. Now, she’s teamed up with spark* to bring ideas to life across digital, social, and print.
She’s freakishly organized, full of ideas, and has a knack for keeping projects on track. When she’s not in design mode, you’ll catch her at a picnic, biking, reading, binge-watching a show, or whipping up her famous carbonara.
