As co-founder and CEO of spark*, I work at the intersection of politics, public opinion, strategy and creative communications. I help clients answer the questions that shape an effective campaign: What does success look like? Whose support matters? And what will make people care?

Before co-founding spark* in 2016, I spent several years in Canadian politics, working for ministers and Members of Parliament, on election campaigns, and across a wide range of policy issues. That experience gave me a practical understanding of how decisions get made, how public opinion takes shape, and how to make a case that earns attention and builds support.

Today, I lead a team of strategists, researchers, creatives and campaign specialists helping associations, businesses, coalitions, charities and other organizations advance their priorities. Based in Ottawa but working with clients across Canada and the world, spark* brings together public affairs expertise, research, PR, creative and advertising to reach audiences across the country — from a handful of key decision-makers to millions of Canadians.

My work spans strategic counsel, advocacy, public affairs campaigns and reputation management. I’m drawn to the challenge of making complicated issues accessible, finding the human stakes in a policy debate, and helping organizations say something people will remember — and when necessary, act on.

I believe the strongest campaigns start with curiosity: about the issue, the audience, and what might persuade someone to see things differently. That’s the spirit I bring to our work and to every client relationship.
