Sam Scott is a senior operations and creative services leader with a career spanning more than a decade. Since beginning her career in 2015 as a Video Production Manager, Sam has built deep expertise at the intersection of creative delivery, business operations, and team leadership.

Currently serving as Director of Operations + Systems at spark*, Sam leads the design, build, and day-to-day operation of the agency’s operating system - overseeing the systems, tools, processes, standards, and resourcing that power scalable, high-quality delivery across the organization. Her work focuses on reducing operational friction, improving predictability, and building infrastructure that supports sustainable growth and strong team performance.

In this role, Sam provides operational “air traffic control” across studio work, ensuring projects move smoothly, teams are supported, and delivery remains on time, on budget, and on brand.

Known for her calm, confident leadership style and ability to scale teams effectively, Sam previously helped grow a small agency from four people to more than 200. She was named Ottawa’s Favourite Project Manager by Faces Magazine and continues to be a trusted advisor across departments.

Outside of work, Sam can usually be found experimenting in the kitchen or recharging outdoors on a long hike.
